Paul Heerwagen IV
Managing Partner & CEO
Prior to co-founding Selenite Energy Partners, Mr. Heerwagen served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Gulfport Energy Corporation from January 2017 to September 2019 where he was responsible for strategic planning, business development, corporate finance and acquisitions and divestitures. During his tenure, Mr. Heerwagen represented Gulfport in serving on both public and private company Boards of Directors for its midstream and oilfield services investments. Prior, Mr. Heerwagen served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Gulfport from May 2014 to January 2017 and Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs from May 2008 to May 2014. From March 2012 through December 2014, Mr. Heerwagen served as President of Stingray Pressure Pumping, Cementing, Energy Services and Logistics. He also served in various financial, investor relations and corporate affairs roles since joining Gulfport in 2006. Mr. Heerwagen holds a degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Margaret Franks
Managing Partner & CFO
Prior to co-founding Selenite Energy Partners, Ms. Franks served as a Principal with The Carlyle Group from 2014-2019, where she focused on business development, origination and execution of structured capital investment opportunities in the upstream and midstream sectors. Previously, from 2006-2014, she spent eight years with EIG Global Energy Partners, formerly TCW Energy and Infrastructure Group, focusing on analysis and execution of debt and equity investments across the energy value chain as well as fundraising, valuation and portfolio management. Ms. Franks holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in finance, Business Honors and Plan II.

Lindsey McCarty
Managing Partner & COO
Prior to co-founding Selenite Energy Partners, Ms. McCarty served as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and Business Development for PayRock II LLC. From 2008-2017 she held various roles spanning production engineering, reservoir engineering, business planning, and engineering supervision for Marathon Oil in a number of locations domestically. Ms. McCarty holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston, and is a registered professional engineer.

Nathan Bruce
Director of Finance
Prior to joining Selenite Energy Partners, Mr. Bruce served as Financial Analyst at Mach Resources focusing on acquisitions and divestitures, corporate finance, and treasury. Prior to Mach, Mr. Bruce served as Financial Analyst at Roan Resources from November 2018 until the successful sale of the company in December 2019. Prior to Roan, he worked for Haymaker Mineral & Royalties until the successful sale of the company. Mr. Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University.

Jack Farrell
Director of Technical
Prior to joining Selenite Energy Partners, Mr. Farrell served as a technical Associate on the investment banking team at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. where he specialized in acquisitions and divestitures across the Williston, Permian, Gulf Coast, Anadarko, and Arkoma Basins. Prior to that, Mr. Farrell worked for Marathon Oil on the Midcon and Permian asset development team. Mr. Farrell earned his B.S. in Geology from Union College and M.S. in Geology from California State University, Long Beach.
